A música da semana!

O novo single de Rihanna, Te Amo, chamou minha atenção essa semana. Não somente pela letra que, só do nome da composição já dá pra entender do que se trata, mas também pela batida, muito mais forte, diferente das canções R&B e Dance, já apresentadas pela cantora.

Rihanna lançou seu primeiro disco, Music of the Sun, em 2005, conquistando o público com canções como Pon de Replay e If it’s Lovin’ That You Whant. Nessa época, com cara de menininha, a cantora vendeu cerca de 500 mil cópias. Em 2006, veio A Girl Like Me, que trouxe SOS, atingindo o primeiro lugar na Bilboard Hot 100, além da romântica Unfaithful (composição de Ney-Ho, com que a cantora formou uma parceria mais tarde em Hate That I Love You).

Mas, com Good Girls Gone Bad (2007), Rihanna vendeu mais de 900 mil cópias, somente na primeira semana, formando parcerias com Jay-Z em Umbrella. Só com esse disco, a cantora lançou oito singles, entre eles Shut Up And Drive, Dont’ Stop the Music, Rehab e Hate That I Love You. No ano seguinte, veio Good Girls Gone Bad – Remixes e, está com previsão de lançamento de seu novo álbum - quarto gravado em estúdio - ainda em 2009, tanto que acredito que Te Amo seja o primeiro single da cantora.

Mas não tenho certeza, pois não encontrei nada falando a respeito disso. E bem provável que atrase um pouco o lançamento do novo disco, depois da briga com o ex, Chirs Brown, fora as parcerias com Jay-Z e Kanye West, a cantora anda mesmo muito atarefada!
